Ever wondered what it's like to feel "unstoppable" on wheels? Meet Danika, one of our incredible @sk8house_speedskating members, who started skating at just 8 years old. From a young age, the favourite part of her week was the Saturday Learn-to-Skate classes, where she discovered the thrill of rolling fast and free. ⚡Danika’s journey began with a love for speed skating that quickly turned into passion and drive. From winning her very first race at the Dennis Harris Cup to representing Victoria in her first Nationals, she pushed boundaries and proved that anything is possible."Even though the sport is mostly dominated by men, it never stopped my passion for skating. As of today, I have represented Australia at the Oceania Championships held in New Zealand and Brisbane, and have competed in four National Championships, and hopefully in the future will go even further." 🙌Ready to feel unstoppable like Danika? Join us for our **FREE** This Girl Can Skate Come & Try event on Thursday, 14th November, 6-8pm! What a spook-tacular Halloween Weekend at Sk8house! 🎃✨We were absolutely blown away by everyone’s costumes – from the whole family who dressed up as a pack of werewolves 🐺 to the tiniest little pumpkin 🎃, only 2 years old! Everyone embraced the Halloween spirit, making it such a magical and memorable event.The atmosphere was electric, with so many of you coming back for the second night because you just couldn’t get enough! Our rink was packed, with a SOLD OUT crowd both nights – and calls still rolling in all afternoon from those hoping to snag last-minute tickets. ☎️Thank you for all the amazing feedback on the decorations and the effort we put in to make this weekend special. Hearing that our space felt warm, welcoming, and friendly for everyone – from the youngest trick-or-treaters to the biggest Halloween fans – truly made our night. 💀🕸️💜And for those who didn’t make it or want one more look at our haunted setup, we’re keeping the decorations up until Cup Day, Tuesday 6th November!
